Anethi

Anethum sowa (Also called Indian Dill)
— steam distilled from the seeds of an annual herb of the parsley family.  Has a fresh, herbaceous, and slightly earthy oil, similar in scent to Caraway.  Finds extensive use in foods, beverages, medicines and soap and candle making. Reasonably priced enough that it could be in everyone’s oil arsenal. Should not be confused with European Dill Weed Oil, which is distilled from leaves and stems and has a milder, spicier profile compared to the intense, caraway-like seed oil.

CAUTION: Never apply undiluted oil directly to the skin; it must be mixed with a carrier oil first. It should be used cautiously by pregnant women and those with seizure disorders.
