Hyssopus officinalis variations of decumbens and pinocamphene -- distilled from the fresh flowers, stems and leaves. There are at least 4 chemotypes. The herb has been traditionally used for at least a thousand years for its antiseptic, disinfecting, and anti-infectious properties. Has a sharp, sweet camphoraceous aroma with a warm, spicy undertone.
CAUTIONS: Generally considered non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Decumbens is preferred for children and elderly. Use low dilution (1%). Avoid during pregnancy.
