Fir


Abies balsamea (Balsam or Canadian Fir)  Abies sibirica (Siberian Fir) distilled from the needles.   Has a crisp, clean Christmas tree aroma. The resin from the balsam fir is used as a source of turpentine.  
 Abies alba (Silver Fir) is more related to the Scotch Pine and is a completely different profile.  See PINE.

CAUTIONS:  Possible irritant, sensitizing.  Best suited for diffusing and inhalation.
