C Coriandrum Sativum—steam distilled from leaves. It has a wonderful fragrance, just like the herb. Can be used in guacamole, lime shrimp, fajitas, tortilla soup, etc. The oil is a large element in the considerable beneficial properties of cilantro. Essential oil of cilantro is also used in perfumes. It is commonly mixed with fragrances of citrus and bergamot to make a lingering and pleasant after-aroma.
The oil from the seeds is CORIANDER.
