Polianthes tuberosa- absolute is obtained from solvent extraction of the fresh flowers. Is often adulterated. It has a heavy, sweet-floral , slightly tenacious fragrance. Related to the narcissus and jonquil. Used in high class perfumes. The fragrance of a single flower transforms a room into a flower garden.
