Cassie

Acacia farnesiana (Cassie ancienne)—absolute from the flowers.  Valuable and scarce perfume material. Odor is that of violets but more intense—Deeply sweet, powdery-floral, honeyed, slightly green with soft spice undertones.  Near cousin of MIMOSA. Cassie is often compared to Mimosa — but richer, darker, and more emotionally grounding. It carries a soft but magnetic presence, more velvet than sparkle.
