Coriander

Coriandrum Sativum—steam distilled from the crushed ripe seeds.  Sweet, woody-spicy, slightly musky or slightly fruity and herbaceous warm fragrance. It has been claimed by some aromatherapists that the aroma improves if allowed to age. Produced mainly in Russia, former Yugoslavia, Romania.  Various chemotypes according to geographical location.   The Essential Oil from the Leaves is called Cilantro. Coriander is much softer than many spice oils.

Generally considered non-toxic, non-sensitizing, possible irritant in low doses.  Dilute well for topical use.  Best suited for diffusing and inhalation. Use ≤1–2% topical dilution.
