Clary Sage

Salvia sclerea-distilled from the flowering tops and leaves.  Slightly sweet, musky-floral, earthy, nutty, herbaceous scent.  Used in soaps, detergents and perfumes. I use just a very small amount in many of my blends. Closely related to garden SAGE, but does not contain any toxic compounds.

CAUTIONS: Generally considered non-toxic, possibly mildly irritating, non-sensitizing,  Dilute well for topical use.  

CHARACTER: "Colorful Wisdom"  Euphoric, Restoring, Harmonizing, Warming, Protecting, Soothing, Calming.  Full of paradoxes.   Clary Sage is often considered a bridge oil between body and intuition.
