Tilia vulgaris- Tilia cordata or Tilia europaea—concrete and absolute from the dried flowers. Historically, linden trees were gathering places in European villages — symbols of peace, community, and loving protection. Also called “Lime flowers”. Sweet, honeyed, floral, soft, slightly green and warm, it is becoming difficult to find quality Linden. If so, it is extremely expensive.
(The TRUE absolute is difficult to find...may be adulterated. No formal testing. Dilute well for topical use. It does not dilute well in Fractionated Coconut - but if warmed, will dilute and blend beautifully into Jojoba.)
