Ylang Ylang

Cananga odorata-distilled from the freshly picked flowers. Has an intensely sweet, soft, floral-balsamic, slightly spicy scent.     It is sometimes called CANANGA when referred to oil from flowers in Java and Malaysia rather than  other locations. . Ylang ylang oil is graded according to how it’s collected as it’s distilled. The strongest is known as “extra.” Weaker ylang ylang EO is rated as Grade 1, 2 and 3, depending on when the oil is collected during the distillation process.

 

CAUTIONS: Generally considered non-toxic, non-irritating. Possible sensitizer.  Dilute well for topical use.
