Ginger


Zingiber officinale-distilled from the unpeeled, fresh root.  Fresh, warm, woody, spicy, earthy scent. Be wary that your ginger oil is not distilled from the dried roots, as it may be "unpleasant".  Used as a fragrance component in cosmetics and perfumes, and extensively in food and drinks.


CAUTIONS: Generally considered non-toxic. Possible sensitizer and irritant.  Dilute well for topical use.
