officinale-distilled from the unpeeled, fresh root. Fresh, woody, spicy scent. Be wary that your
ginger oil is not distilled from the dried roots, as it may be
"unpleasant". Used as a
fragrance component in cosmetics and perfumes, and extensively in food and
